Angler Ricky Schlee Jr. spent yesterday on the water aboard the Reel-E-Sea charter boat out of West Palm Beach. They were greeted with improving Dolphin (Mahi Mahi) action and deteriorating weather conditions. Even though the seas went from glassy calm to a 4-6' swell by 11 a.m., the crew was still able to put together an impressive catch. They kept two big Dolphin for the table and released 4 others throughout the day trolling around the 400' depth range. When it is too rough for other techniques, trolling a variety of skirted jet head and diving lures is to go-to for Dolphin fishing in West Palm Beach.
