Angler JB Coulter reported great Jack Crevalle action off the surf this Wednesday while fishing the surf in West Palm Beach. They were spraying mullet right in the surf wash close to shore. If you see some active Jacks in the surf, grab the largest Shimano Orca Popper you can find and toss it out there quick. Rip it across the surface of the water until you see the Jacks chasing it. Once they're on your lure, speed it up even more to entice that bite. When walking the beach this week, look for rough surf conditions and mullet in the first trough with active fish splashing on the surface. Once you find them, move with the school because they will be moving quickly down the beach and can easily outrun you if you are not ready to follow them around!
